Read here Liquor’s article published in February 2024: “The 11 Best Vermouths for a Negroni, According to Bartenders”, where a El Che Steakhouse’s bartender (Chicago) recommends our La Fuerza Rojo.
“Vermouth is a huge part of Argentinian food and beverage culture,” says Alex Cuper of Chicago’s El Che Steakhouse & Bar. There, it’s a customary after-dinner sip, fueling post-meal talks and into-the-night drinking.
“When we were in Argentina, we fell in love with La Fuerza Vermut, an Argentinian-produced vermouth made by winemakers Sebastion Zuccardi, Martin Auzmendi, and Agustin Camps,” he says.
The vermouth’s malbec base, with grapes grown by Zuccardi, is supported with 40 hand-harvested botanicals and wild herbs native to the Andes mountains. “It makes a deeper, richer style of Negroni,” says Cuper, who recommends using the project’s white vermouth in a Mezcal Negroni.
